We are pleased to announce Occidenterie, Marek Wolfryd's second solo exhibition at General Expenses. The opening will take place on Monday, February 3 at 16:00 hrs, as part of Material Monday.
In this new installation, Wolfryd presents an unprecedented series of paintings, sculptures and digital media, exploring the means of mass production, consumer culture, copyright and the mechanisms of creation and distribution in art. Through exhaustive research, the artist highlights the tensions between economy and culture, providing a challenging reading on the role of art in contemporary society.
The exhibition will be open to the public until March 22, 2025.
